Hello!

I'm SUMIRE, Marketing Director of "ReADY B"!

Have you ever worn a kimono?

I myself have worn a kimono at a wedding reception.

I rarely had the opportunity to use it in my daily life.

Since I started working on ReADY B, I have been fascinated by the beauty of kimonos.

When I see a shop or someone wearing a kimono, I can't help but follow them with my eyes ^ ^

Kimono, a traditional Japanese garment with a long history, is the epitome of craftsmanship.

The design using gold and silver threads is very luxurious,

The intricacy of the handiwork and the delicate patterns stand out.

Kimono made from 100% pure silk have an exceptional feel and luster.

When you hold it in your hands, you'll be amazed at how beautiful it is.

Such a beautiful thing is thrown away

However, even though these kimonos are so beautiful, many of them are discarded, which poses an issue.

Statistics from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications also show that kimono purchase rates and data from related industries

It has been confirmed that the demand for kimonos is declining overall.

In many cases, opportunities to wear them are seldom available and they are simply stored in a wardrobe.

The market is said to be worth 30 million pieces and 8 to 20 trillion yen.

At ReADY B, we create new styles of bags and clothes that are easy to use every day.

We will upcycle these items and pass on this beautiful Japanese culture.

ReADY B's main product is a bag made from obi.

The obi reflects traditional weaving and dyeing techniques and is characterized by its beautiful design.

Even if you wear a simple kimono, choosing a gorgeous obi will make the whole outfit stand out.

High-quality obi are durable and perfect for bags.

Obi sashes decorated with seasonal motifs and Japanese patterns are truly beautiful and give a sense of the Japanese aesthetic.

Take over the idea

When I went to the room where the kimonos were kept,

"What a beautiful obi!" "I like this pattern combination!"

The members are getting excited and the work isn't progressing lol

I was fascinated by the beauty of the kimono, and at the same time,

I imagine the owner's background, such as "Maybe it was worn on a celebratory occasion."

Kimono reflect Japan's four seasons and traditional events, and each one has its own story.

Kimono are often worn at important events in life and at family events,

We would like to inherit this spirit, carefully craft it, and pass it on to the next person.

The online store is scheduled to open on December 26th!

Stay tuned!
