A sewing ticket to remake an inherited kimono into a high-quality jacket.
This is a build-to-order sewing ticket to remake an inherited kimono into a high-quality jacket. Every time you wear it, the memories of the craftsmanship embedded in the weaving and dyeing become the core of your attire. Since each piece is made from a single kimono, no two pieces will have the same pattern. It can be worn for special occasions or passed down through generations.
Made to order / Delivery in approximately 12 weeks (within 3 months) / Images are for illustration purposes only

Made-to-order pieces & tailoring vouchers: production begins once payment is confirmed and takes approximately 12 weeks. For tailoring vouchers, the 12 weeks are counted from the day your fabric reaches us. For the OBI Bag with “Choose from whole obi”, they are counted from the day the obi is chosen. Shipping time is added after production is complete.
A tracking number is provided for every shipment.
Every piece is made from vintage kimono or obi, so no two are alike. Because the fabric is cut individually, the colour, pattern and texture differ with each item.
As each piece is finished by hand, there is natural variation in engraving, stitching and dimensions. These are characteristics of the product, not defects.
Product photographs are representative examples; the pattern on the piece you receive may differ.
For exact dimensions or material details on a specific piece, please contact info@sfdesign.co.jp and we will send you the details of the actual item.
Because every piece is one-of-a-kind or made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on customer preference (change of mind, sizing, or the pattern differing from expectation).
If your item arrives damaged, or differs from what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange a return or exchange.
Made-to-order pieces can be cancelled before production begins. Once production has started, cancellation is not possible.
See our Returns and Refunds Policy for full details.
