[Special Exhibition at Sanraku-so, a Registered Tangible Cultural Property] Participation in the Shobara City 20th Anniversary Project

Ethical fashion brand "Re:ADY B",

which champions Kimono x Inclusion,

will participate in the exhibition of the Tojo Machinami Burari Sanpo Gallery,

held from November 1 (Sat) to 5 (Wed), 2025.

"Sanrakuso" is a townhouse built in the Meiji period by master carpenter Rintaro Yokoyama, who was called a master of Tojo, and once operated as a kimono fabric store.

The hundreds of kimonos that have gathered here are, for the most part, collected in Hiroshima.

Thinking that there's a possibility some kimonos that once left this place might have returned,

is very emotional.

Venue atmosphere

Kimono suits and jackets made from Oshima Tsumugi

Prototype metal fittings using Hiroshima Buddhist altar metal carving techniques and embroidered kurotomesode (black formal kimono)

This is a new dress "ISSEI" created for this occasion.
It is an original design using scraps from almost all kimonos a woman would have worn throughout her life (undergarments, baby clothes, everyday wear, visiting kimonos, long-sleeved kimonos, mourning kimonos, tomesode).
At Re:ADY B, we collect kimonos that are on the verge of being discarded, so we gather almost all types of kimonos.

We transform all of them into products with designs suitable for modern life,

and actively utilize scraps and other materials that couldn't be made into products.
