Setouchi Mirai Design (Re:ADY B) has been selected as a finalist in the main event "Hiroshima SPORTS x TECH Nomination Meeting 2025" of Hiroshima Prefecture's corporate invitation event "Hi! HIROSHIMA Business Days 2025."In this event, Hiroshima sports teams will present ideas to solve new challenges using cutting-edge technology such as AI.
A total of 69 applications were received (37 open proposals, 32 AI sandbox), and 7 companies were selected as finalists.
Three companies were in the open proposal category and four in the AI sandbox category.
Re:ADY B was selected as one of the three companies in the open proposal category.
The collaborating teams that participated on this day were six teams: Sanfrecce Hiroshima (soccer) from the J.League, Hiroshima Dragonflies (basketball) from the B.League, Hatsukaichi Sunblaze (hardball baseball), Hiroshima TEAM iXA (e-sports), Victorious Hiroshima (road cycling), and A-Pfeile Hiroshima BFC + Japan Blind Football Association (blind soccer)*.. *Hiroshima Gas Badminton Club was absent due to a match.
The judges included the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, Mr. Hata, Representative of Sports Activation Hiroshima, Mr. Takeshima, Advisor to the Japan Sports Agency, Mr. Nishioka, Representative Director of Hiroshima Venture Capital, and Mr. Oketani, Director of Legacy Innovation.
From Re:ADY B, we proposed the production of original goods that upcycle kimonos and obis, and collaboration.
We obtained negotiation rights with A-Pfeile Hiroshima BFC + Japan Blind Football Association,
and HiroshimaTEAM iXA.
On this day, we also participated in a related event held in the afternoon at Mihara City Hall, and it was a day where we made many new connections within Hiroshima Prefecture.
