Hello.
I'm Karin, a designer at Re:ADY B.
This time, we will explain why Re:ADY B products are unique.
I would like to talk about:
Re:ADY B products are:
The design is basically the same, but by changing the fabric and its combination,
All items are presented as one-of-a-kind items.
The thickness and condition of the fabric is not uniform,
There are some difficult things when it comes to sewing,
Encountering a particular fabric is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Taking advantage of the low probability of receiving the same fabric,
This can only be achieved through " upcycling".
I feel that it’s a wonderful way of expression.
Currently, we have several hundred kimonos and obi in our workshop.
Surprisingly, I have yet to come across an identical pattern.
Even a tailor who has made over 1,000 kimonos,
He said he had never come across the same pattern before.
I was really surprised at the variety.
Japan has had a long history of culture that expresses the changing of the seasons.
In Japan, where we can enjoy the changes of the seasons, we enjoy cherry blossom viewing and autumn leaf viewing.
There is a culture of appreciating the subtle changes in the scenery.
There are many kimono patterns that evoke the seasons.
In addition, there are traditional Japanese patterns called "wagara" (traditional Japanese patterns),
Blessed harvests, good fortune, health and longevity, academic and artistic success,
Patterns such as Shippou (Seven Treasures) that represent harmony and prosperity,
A pattern that can be worn all year round, like cherry blossoms.
Various prayers and thoughts such as for the prosperity of descendants
It is packed with a variety of colors,
Basically, all patterns can be said to be auspicious.
Even I, a Japanese person, was surprised at the variety of options.
I'm sure people all over the world will be impressed.
Re:ADY B is,
By developing "one product, all one-of-a-kind,"
The overwhelming variety of patterns on kimonos and obi,
We will spread the depth and beauty of Japanese culture to the world.
