Please support our Re:ADY B challenge.
We would like to introduce our partner companies.

We have started a collaboration regarding the procurement of kimonos.
We spoke with Arata Yuya, CEO of NEUTRAL Co., Ltd.

NEUTRAL Co., Ltd. is a specialty store located in Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City that buys unwanted items at high prices.
The number of purchases has exceeded 10,000.

We also sell home appliances as a member of the Edion Support Chain.

- I used to work for a company in Ehime that bought recycled goods from customers.
I felt uncomfortable with the recycling industry's unique policy of "only buying high-end items."

I decided to go independent because I wanted to do a job where I could value the feelings of the customers in front of me.
This year marks the company's sixth year, as we have accumulated purchasing knowledge and experience.

As a company policy, in order to please our customers,
I try to take whatever items I can.

Taking time and effort to reduce waste

What is NEUTRAL focusing on?

- In order to minimize waste, we take the time and effort to separate waste.
If you only deal with precious metals and brand-name items, you won't have to go through all that trouble.

We purchase various items to meet the needs of our customers,
Even if the item itself only costs a few hundred yen,
We are thinking about how we can make use of it and responding accordingly.

For this reason, we employ more employees than regular buyers,
The store space is also spacious so that stock can be stored.

When disposing of desks that cannot be sold, we separate the iron and wooden parts.
We recycle as much as possible.
At first glance, it may not seem like it's worth the cost, but the monthly waste disposal fee has been reduced from double digits to single digits, and the waste volume is vastly different, so it's also environmentally friendly.
It also leads to cost reduction.

In reality, it is a lot of work to spend so much time and effort.
"Everyone is working really hard," Arata said.

Everyone at NEUTRAL is very energetic,
I was impressed by how courteous they were with their customers.

* After collecting unwanted items, we will thoroughly clean the facility.

What kind of society do you aim to create through your business?

- Many elderly people, in particular, feel embarrassed about "selling things they used to own."
These people often throw away things that are still usable.
I think that's such a waste.
For example, just the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner,  "Is there anyone who wants this?"
Whatever you think, someone needs it.
Our goal is to recycle rather than throw away.

Value that is not monetary

Why did you decide to collaborate with Re:ADY B?

-Because I felt that the activities of Re:DAY B had value that could not be replaced by money.

Kimono are often sold or disposed of as part of estate clearance,
I feel bad about throwing away clothes that my parents used to wear...
This is a common case.

However, even if I have them, I don't wear them on a regular basis and they are difficult to store.
Eventually you will have no choice but to let go.

"Even if it's worthless, I hope that this kimono will be useful to someone."
But up until now, customers have been
She was unable to see where the kimonos she had given up would end up.

In collaboration with Re:ADY B, kimonos and obi are transformed into bags, suits, and other items.
We will also be able to inform our customers about the future of kimonos.
I think customers will be happy if their treasured kimonos are brought back to life.
I feel that this is a very meaningful activity for our company.

Arata-san has high expectations for Re:ADY B.
In fact, he ordered a KIMONO SUIT!

- The Oshima Tsumugi skirt that you were wearing was really beautiful.
I knew at a glance that it was a remade kimono.
I'm also really looking forward to seeing the finished jacket.

I would like to wear a KIMONO SUIT and tell customers about Re:ADY B.

The customers who entrusted us with their kimonos
I think they will be very happy if someone treasures them,
I look forward to further developments in the future.

Thank you, Arata!
We look forward to your continued support!
Please look forward to the KIMONO SUIT as well.
